This kids artist-designed t-shirt transforms Maria Grujicic Studio’s original Curious Eye artwork into a playful piece of wearable art.
The Curious Eye Youth Tee grew from Maria Grujicic Studio’s early Tactile Wall Art explorations. The character first appeared as a temporary experimental sculpture made from a small branch, balls of wool and found materials. That playful three-dimensional form was later reimagined through drawing and painting — and has now become wearable art.
Part of the creative process behind the Tactile Wall Art Project, the design celebrates curiosity, imagination and the idea that art can emerge from simple materials, experimentation and unexpected moments.
Designed in Darwin, Australia, the Curious Eye Collection brings Maria Grujicic’s tactile studio practice into everyday clothing for young people. It is created for young artists, adventurers, storytellers and creative spirits who enjoy imagining, exploring and making.
Available in a selection of playful colours, each tee allows the Curious Eye character to take on a slightly different personality.
