Mystery Plants & Trees: Adventures in the Ludmilla Bushblock is an illustrated children’s picture book inspired by Maria Grujicic’s childhood experiences exploring the Ludmilla Bushblock in Darwin, Northern Territory.

Through the eyes of a young explorer, children are invited to slow down and notice the plants, trees, birds and small mysteries woven through the landscape.

Blending story, observation and a strong sense of place, Mystery Plants & Trees celebrates curiosity, belonging and children’s connection with the natural world.

Created and illustrated in Darwin, this second edition presents the story in a larger A4 landscape format, allowing the artwork and bushland environment more space to unfold across the pages.
