Darwin Sun — Sunlit Butter Edition is an artist-designed long-sleeve midi dress created from Maria Grujicic Studio’s original mixed-media artwork. The artwork began through layered colour, cut shapes and repurposed printed materials. Deep greens, coral-reds and sunlit yellows form an abstract composition that may suggest petals, birds, movement or something entirely your own. A fresh Sunlit Butter skirt brings warmth and brightness to the piece, while the white sleeves and plain back keep the silhouette calm, wearable and easy to style. Designed as an artist-made statement piece for everyday movement, creative occasions and colour-loving wardrobes. Made to order to help avoid unnecessary overproduction. Product details • Soft, smooth stretch fabric • Long sleeves and a flattering fitted waist • Flared midi-length skirt with side pockets • Comfortable four-way stretch fabric • Made to order through Printful Artist note Each piece begins with original artwork by Maria Grujicic, developed in Darwin through tactile experimentation, colour, observation and visual storytelling.

    Fit note

This long-sleeve midi dress has a fitted, stretchy bodice and a flowing skirt. The waist and chest measurements are particularly important when choosing your size.

For a more relaxed fit, or if your measurements fall between sizes, consider sizing up.

Please note: Measurements are taken from the finished garment laid flat and may vary slightly between garments.

    Fit & sizing

Please check the size guide carefully before ordering. This is a made-to-order garment, so sizing is important. Measurements are supplied by the manufacturer and may vary slightly.

    Care

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Wash inside out with similar colours. Avoid bleach and tumble drying where possible. Hang or lay flat to dry to help preserve the artwork and garment colour.

    Made to order

Each dress is produced after purchase rather than held as mass stock. This helps reduce waste and supports a more considered approach to wearable art.
