Free workshop — places are limited

In response to community interest, this workshop is now open to older children as well as younger teens.

This hands-on youth art workshop invites older children and younger teens to explore tactile materials, drawing, colour, construction and imaginative making as part of the evolving Tactile Wall Art Project exhibition.

Participants will experiment with shapes, cardboard, found and reusable materials, colour and different ways of drawing and making. There is no expectation to create a “perfect” artwork — the focus is on curiosity, imagination, experimentation and trying something new.

Participants will create their own individual responses before contributing to the evolving exhibition, helping build a larger collaborative installation together.

The workshop is also an opportunity to create alongside others, meet new people and experience art as part of a group and community.

Places are limited. Workshop places will be confirmed by Maria Grujicic Studio following review of each enrolment.

Photography permission

I give permission for photographs of the participant’s hands, materials and artwork.

Maria Grujicic Studio usually photographs hands working, materials and artworks rather than participants’ faces. No participant’s name will be published alongside photographs.
