A Glimpse Inside the Workshop

Watch how children will explore bark, line, texture, watercolour and imaginative drawing.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOPS

Maria Grujicic Studio children’s art workshops are small-group, Montessori-informed creative learning sessions for children aged 4–12.

Children explore carefully prepared materials including Montessori metal insets, found objects, watercolour pencils, natural pigments, bark, leaves, seedpods, line, colour, pattern, texture and storytelling. Each workshop begins with observation and guided exploration, then opens into individual artwork, imaginative thinking and creative choice.
The sessions are designed to support children at different stages of confidence and experience. Younger children can work with simple shapes, colour and sensory exploration, while older children can extend their ideas through detailed pattern, composition, storytelling and imaginative world-building.

These workshops are not simply art and craft. They support observation, fine-motor control, hand-eye coordination, concentration, confidence, sensory learning, imagination and creative expression.
